Fra 1970 bliver Moreauxs maleri gradvist mere figurativt, ligesom inspiration fra surrealisterne træder tydeligt frem. Forskellige stykker krop finder vej til lærredet i forvrængede kompositioner, og en lyserød kødfarve bliver flittigt anvendt. Brudstykker og forvrængninger af menneskekroppen står som en kommentar til reklamesprogets klicheefyldte og falske fremstilling af menneskekroppen. Moreaux giver lods for humoren og den erotiske fantasi, og han døber temaet: polygames (gruppesex).

C’est dans cette période que Moreaux a laissé libre cours à l’humour et à ses fantaisies érotiques. Il a baptisé ces peintures polygames.

S'intrecciano mani, si mescolano cosce. I frammenti, le torsioni e le deformazioni del corpo umano, costituiscono altrettanti commenti alle false rappresentazioni del corpo fatte dai cliché tipici del discorso pubblicitario. E' di questo periodo il libero sfogo lasciato all'arguzia e alle fantasie erotiche. Chiamò poligami i suoi dipinti.
